Treasure Trove 2

Jodi posted to her blog, Treasure Trove, which are various pictures from the other day when she delivered 4 lovely ewes to the front of my house.  Rusty and I moved them to my neighbors house.  That evening, Craig and I went over to check on them and I took some pictures, adding to what Jodi already had taken.  See Jodi's blog at  http://knottypineranch.blogspot.com/ 

I also could not resist the evening sun on my petunias.

The girls were enjoying a nice evening in their new pasture....

.....until Craig decided it would be fun to work dogs in our yard!

So, here is Craig helping me....along with Rusty.  I'm not only training Rusty, I'm also training Craig how to handle sheep.  ;o)

We made it down the block, around the corner and into our back yard!  I could breath.  Craig was just laughing.

I worked Rusty a little.

Than Jade.  She was a little disturbed that there were sheep in the back yard???  She recovered quickly.

Again the girls could rest....that is until Chase spotted them.

Craig decided to give it a go with Chase.  Nice job Craig.

Rooks turn, after a morning of working sheep with Jodi at Don's place.

That was it....we then took the sheep back to their pasture around the block.  That was fun!

Oh, and did I mention that I picked up the sheep droppings???  Picture that?  ha!
